Ch. L'gacy Twist Of Fate
Ch. L'gacy Twist Of Fate, or Zane as he is known to us, is truly a "twist of
fate"  on how he came to be.  I was at the MN Specialties staying with Amy
Ross of Oak Knoll Collies and on a trip to Dairy Queen plans for him came
about.  I was looking at needing to breed my Judie and Amy was looking
for a girl to outcross too.  One thing led to another and plans were made
for Oak Knoll Collies to lease Judie for a litter so I could focus on Judie's
mother for a litter.  Judie came into season and the first choice male wasn't
meant to be and she was bred to Gavin, Ch. Oak Knolls Beau Ideal,
instead.  We had three pups in the litter with Zane being the only male and
what a male he is.

Zane went to his first show, the St. Louis Speciality show, on the day he
turned six months and picked up winner's dog for his first major.  The next
day he topped that by going WD and BOS over 5 male specials for his
second major.  The next week, WD again for his third major under Bonnie
Young.  His next appearance was the 2007 Collie Club of America National
where he went fourth place, out of 23 puppies, under Sue Fabek in the 6 -
9 smooth puppy dog class.  The weekend after the National brings him his
fourth major under breeder judge, Butch Schulman. Zane finished with
wins under Charlotte McGowan and Roger Hartinger at eight months of
age on April 29, 2007. Zane was owner-handled to all of his wins including
his placement at the National.

Zane's latest win was BOV at the Collie Club of MN under judge Helga
Kane and BOS to BOV under Sylvie Lingenfelter.  Zane will be with Laurie
Jeff Greer at the 2008 CCA National.
