Melvin's first trip in the ring with his owner and trainer, Becky Gast, leads
to his going WD and BW for his first major under judge Neena Van Camp
at the Sunflower Kennel Club shows in Gardner, KS and his second major
was under Marcia Bittner. Melvin finished on February 3, 2008 at the St.
Joseph Kennel Club show making Melvin Becky's first owner handled
champion and my 25th homebred champion. Melvin is the second to
finish from his litter and the fifth champion for his mother. Pictured is
Becky and Melvin winning Becky's first all-breed best Jr. Handler from the
Open Intermediate class under judge Houston Clark.
