Fire wasn't my first homebred champion but he was the first to carry
my kennel name. Fire finished easily with wins at speciality as well as
all-breed shows. I just about didn't keep Fire at the time because he
was a sable-merle with a blue eye and I didn't know at the time that a
novice could finish one or not. He proved me wrong and finished quite
easily and proving that quality is quality regardless of the color of the
dog.
